📌 Eligibility Criteria

1. Nationality / Citizenship: A candidate must be either:

• A Citizen of India, or
• A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
• A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, or
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated with the intention of permanently settling in India.

2. Age Limit (As of June 1, 2025):

• Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 18 to 28 years
• Officer Scale-I (PO): 18 to 30 years
• Officer Scale-II: 21 to 32 years
• Officer Scale-III: 21 to 40 years

Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen).

3. Educational Qualifications:

• Office Assistant (Multipurpose):
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
  • Proficiency in the local language of the applied state/region.
  • Knowledge of computer skills is desirable.
• Officer Scale-I (PO):
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Preference given to candidates with degrees in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, etc.
  • Proficiency in the local language is essential.
  • Computer knowledge or a certificate in computer applications is desirable.
• Officer Scale-II (Generalist & Specialist):
  • Generalist: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks + 2 years of experience as an officer in a Bank/Financial Institution.
  • Specialist (IT, CA, Law, Treasury, Marketing, etc.): Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with specified experience.
• Officer Scale-III:
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks + 5 years of experience as an officer in a Bank/Financial Institution.

B. Main / Single Exam (Objective)

• For Office Assistant:
  • Reasoning: 40 Questions, 50 Marks

  • English/Hindi Language: 40 Questions, 40 Marks

  • Same pattern as Office Assistant, but with Quantitative Aptitude instead of Numerical Ability.
