Role Summary

As a Marketing Automation & Web Development Intern, you will join Shakan AI’s growth team and participate in both marketing and development initiatives. You will work on web design and development, automation of marketing workflows, campaign integration, and support functions that bridge technology and marketing. Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web pages, landing pages, and site modules using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (or frontend frameworks)
• Collaborate in designing UI/UX elements, ensuring responsive, clean, and user-friendly interfaces
• Implement backend or server-side logic to support forms, APIs, and campaign workflows
• Set up and manage marketing automation tools (email campaigns, CRM workflows, triggers)
• Integrate web forms, lead capture, and CRM systems with email marketing or automation platforms
• Assist in A/B testing, tracking, and optimizing conversions and user flows
• Monitor website metrics, generate reports, and suggest improvements to increase engagement
• Help in content deployment, SEO tasks, and on-page optimization
• Participate in agile or sprint cycles, code reviews, and documentation
• Learn and adopt new marketing or development tools, and assist with ad hoc tasks

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 0 to 1 year of experience (academic projects, internships, or self-driven work)
• Basic knowledge of web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Familiarity or willingness to learn frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) or server platforms
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP requests, and integration patterns
• Appetite to learn marketing automation platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of SEO, analytics tools (Google Analytics), or tracking tools
• Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams

Preferred / Advantageous Skills

• Experience with a frontend framework (React, Vue, Angular)
• Familiarity with backend development (Node.js, Express, PHP, Python)
• Exposure to integrating APIs, webhooks, or third-party marketing tools
