About the Role
Executive Recruiting As a Researcher in Executive Recruiting at Google India, you will play a critical role in sourcing senior leadership talent across technical and non-technical domains. You will partner with executive recruiters and internal stakeholders to design and execute search strategies, conduct deep market research, and engage with high-potential candidates. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, own, and execute search strategies for executive and leadership roles across Google’s product, engineering, business, and operations functions
- Perform market mapping, benchmarking, talent landscape analysis, and domain research to drive insight into candidate availability, compensation trends, and competitive positioning Google+1
- Source candidates through internal and external channels; build pipelines of passive and active talent Google+1
- Establish relationships with senior talent, engage in outreach and conversation, present opportunities, and manage candidate experience through the recruitment process Google+1
- Collaborate with hiring managers and executive recruiters to understand role requirements, define candidate profiles, and refine sourcing priorities
- Innovate and improve search workflows, tools, systems, and data quality to increase efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment operations
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience (internships, early career roles) in recruitment, research, talent acquisition, consulting, or related fields
- Strong interest in executive recruiting and a passion for talent discovery
- Excellent research, analytical, and market intelligence skills
- Solid communication skills—both written and verbal—and ability to engage with senior stakeholders
- Proactive mindset with high ownership, curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn quickly
- Comfortable working with data, metrics, and using sourcing tools or platforms
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Experience or exposure to executive search or leadership hiring
- Domain knowledge in tech, SaaS, or adjacent industries
- Familiarity with recruiting tools, candidate relationship management systems, or sourcing platforms
- Exposure to diversity & inclusion practices, and stakeholder management
