Selection Process

The selection for UPPSC PCS 2025 will be based on a three-tier examination process:

  1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type): This is a screening test. Marks obtained in the Prelims are not counted for the final merit list. It consists of two compulsory papers:
    • Paper I: General Studies I (150 Marks)
    • Paper II: General Studies II (CSAT) (100 Marks) – Qualifying in nature (33% marks required).
